I like it how first we realize jon sims was raised by an elderly woman and like ohh! makes a lot of sense right lol. and then we realize he was an orphan neglected through most of his childhood and now being an adult still truly believes he was a deeply annoying kid because that helps him to cope with the fact the last person who was supposed to care about him unconditionally did not. because, as far as he thinks, there was always something fundamentally wrong with him, making him unlovable to people He cares about. and we’re like. Ohh. makes a lot of sense right
