My meanest ‘headcanon’ (i.e., something I just thought up cause I’m feeling salty) is that when Martin was talking with someone about Jon and he was saying ‘-cause I don’t think he actually-’… he was actually going to say ‘likes women’ and not anything about his asexuality and also that they didn’t have any discussions about sex during the ‘safehouse era’ cause THEY WERE BARELY TOGETHER AND DEALING WITH MORE IMPORTANT SHIT so actually I think Martin was eventually going to expect Jon to reciprocate any sexual feelings and when he didn’t then it would’ve been a sign of Jon’s inhumanity because everything is a sign of Jon’s inhumanity and also Martin is aphobic.
