Hello! So sorry if you’ve been asked something like this before, but what is the appeal of running a hate blog? I hope that doesn’t come across passive aggressive or like accusatory! It’s interesting to see different opinions and takes, but I feel like so much fan culture revolves around the things people like from media so I’m curious what the motivation for curating a more contrarian fandom experience is? Thank you! Have a good day!
just felt like a gap in the market! 😋
tbh it was mostly just because i really didn’t want to have to deal with the pressure of creating a decent username, so i mostly just picked an opinion i could create an account around and then stuck w it 🤷♂️
(this is why i post my art and other fandom stuff on this blog too - it’s just my main blog, I don’t have any others)
I mostly still post just because it seems like an opinion that’s underrepresented in the fandom, and I get quite a few people in my asks talking about how like I’ve put stuff into words that they wouldn’t be able to say before, or like how I’ve said what they’ve been thinking for a long time. Also because people send hate or whatever which like I kinda enjoy respond to too 😋
