TBTH after relistening to TMA dozens of times Martin ended up annoying me too because it feels like his characterization wasnt decided till like S3... maybe even later. I think if he had been written to be more committed to The Web (something thats all over S1, and just dissapears until S5). It just feel like a wasted oppurtunity. HOWEVER my unpopular fandom opinions are that Basira and Georgie are insufferable. I hate the "well just don't do it" shit attitude they have. ESPECIALLY Basira. Makes my teeth itch. I thibk thats another area they didnt fully commit too but the lack annoys me. Unexpected fav is Daisy though, and one of the only endings to a character arc that I thought fit.
