Every once in a while you get an ask telling you to go fuck yourself, or saying your opinion is invalid, or something in a similar manner and every single one of the people sending you these asks (that weren't anonymous) relates to martin in some way.

Conclusion: every single martin fan likes him because they relate to him.

Or maybe not *entirely* because they relate to him, but either way it plays a significant role in liking him.

Personally i don't relate to martin, and while i think his character is realistically written and am not really prejudiced against him, i find it hard to enjoy him as a person. He would be awful to be around and I'm not sorry

yayayaya they take it so personally because they have issues with their mothers (like everyone else in the world tbh like whatever man…) or like have weird obnoxious personalities and then use that to project onto him and get SO defensive
