Genuine question that's only about 50% defending Martin: what are your thoughts on the possibility that after experiencing a lot of manipulation and discovering there's a strong chance very little of his actions are truly his own, Martin does have a good reason to do the annoying "i am always the victim" self loathing stuff he does?

and the answer to your question is like no not really. i mean yeah obviously he has a REASON to or he wouldn’t do it. i also don’t think there’s ever really an excuse for doing it if that’s what you’re trying to ask.

i feel he’s especially unjustified with how his mentality impacts people around him ((mostly talking about jon obviously)) and how he refuses to take responsibility for himself
