question: do you hate Martin blackwood as a person or how he's written? Is it like, "I don't like Martin bc he manipulates people and I don't like when people are manipulative" or is it "I don't like the way he was written because it doesn't make sense." Because I can kind of relate to the former because (just not w/ Martin) sometimes there are just characters that I despise for their assholery.
i don’t really think im in a position to criticise the writing and i also just don’t want to do that so mainly i just don’t like him as a person because like he’s just mean 🥀🥀
but like to be fair i do also dislike some of the stuff they did with martin’s character and like i don’t know if it was intentional hypocrisy and like wishy-washy characterisation like on purpose because it’s not something that’s talked about by the fandom really so like when i talk about that for example i don’t really know myself what im criticising, but im gonna say that it’s just the persona of martin as a fictional character that im hating on because like i just don’t want to be negative about real peoples work really, and like i think to be fair the characterisation of martin as like deliberately unlikable is done very well if it’s on purpose
(basically what i mean is that i don’t know the intent of the writers for a lot of what im criticising about martin and whether it’s a deliberately inconsistent character or just inconsistent writing, but i only really want to criticise the character, so I’ll assume that his flaws are done deliberately)
