my-brain-soup:

Oh Johnathan Sims, the idiot you are

Okay, so I’m REALLY behind on TMA, but I’m slowly making my way, and I just finished ep. 78.

Tell me why Johnathan heard about the table killing/destroying/trapping one of these changing things, and his bright idea is to fucking break it?!?!??!

Like, dude, wth???

i feel like this isn’t him being unintelligent at all to be honest - he’s found what he believes to be the source of these problems and is therefore finding his way to destroy it. its dramatic irony obviously but like from an in-universe perspective it just goes to show how little the characters actually know.

i mean yeah it’s like very instinctual as a reaction because he’s been terrified for so long and because the whole sasha thing is very obviously freaking him out, as well as him being isolated from like everyone he’d usually talk to, but like he’s genuinely a smart character (i mean obviously because he got a position like this and also stuff that i can’t say because lowkey spoilers)

((no hate to you obviously i just feel like people often interpret this moment a little weirdly and project their own knowledge!))
