martin blackwood deffo had a freak character ai phase where he’d be like “heh… at least the bots don’t leave me… :)” and he wouldn’t actually talk to any real person for months. that’s actually his Lonely phase in my mind. that’s what happened s4. it is canon.

Martin’s so caught up in his self-loathing that anytime he manages to pin down a genuine flaw of his, he brushes it off as irrational and overexaggerated. Like yeah man I’m glad you realized your own issues in MAG 186! Now you can try and work on yourself!
