Cigarettes are tied to the Web. Weed is tied to the Vast. Vapes are tied to the Lonely. Explanation:

- cigarettes: a representation of addiction in general. Something you start doing out of your own free will, and it feels good at first so you keep doing it. But the longer it goes on it becomes a compulsion, someting involuntary. And it's starting to affect you negatively and getting more and more out of hand, making you question whether you even had control over it in the first place. But you did choose this, you made the decision to start, and it feels good, or at least it felt good in the beginning, and maybe you even want to stop. After all, there is nothing preventing you from quitting, you're doing this because you want to, and surely just one more time won't hurt

- weed: cause u get high like fear of heights an aspect of the vast get it

- vapes: what if when peter lukas vanished he didn't disappear into the fog and instead he actually took a fat hit of his vape and hid behind the smoke

"statements-end": classic. Tma-related but also nonspecific. Focused on the podcast being finished. One of my faves

"janeprentissenthusiast": jane is one of my favourite characters I ♡ her

"helendistorted": same as above plus a super secret more personal reason that I won't share

"alivingchronicleofterror": relates to the Archivist. I love Jon and talk about him constantly so it would fit my blog contents

"archives-of-fear": pretty much same as above. Slightly more cringe though

"horrortea": sums up the average tma fan. Very cringe but not *that* bad

"znieksztalcona": "distorted"(fem). I'm just a casual enjoyer of the spiral though so it's not very fitting

"tapesandthoughts": tapes are the core element of the podcast. Pleasantly vague but also cringe. Makes me think of Martin recording his poetry for the "lo-fi vibe" (bad)

"first-hunt": my favourite tma episode. I really love the suspicious hiker...

"gruesomeheights": most variations of "literary heights" were taken

To sum up most of these are mediocre but I can't be martinblackwoodhaterfan forever it's too LONG. Just "martinblackwoodhater" is pushing it and the three additional letters only make it worse. No matter what I'll end up changing it to I'll still remain mr hater's fan in spirit

Since it's very popular to arrange the Fears into the colour wheel, and the podcast itself uses a colour wheel metaphor to describe the way they function, does that mean certain Fears cancel each other out? I don't mean it in a "rivalry" sense, more like... say you fell victim to the Eye, and in order to escape it you lock yourself in a pitch black room. Or you fell victim to the Buried, so you decide to go on a very long cruise or something.

Could you become a servant of one Fear by escaping another? Theoretically you would still be afraid - afraid that once you "let go" of one entity, the other one will get you. Kind of like with Salesa's camera (was it a camera?) that he used to hide himself from the apocalypse. Could it work that way? Or is the source of the fear more important?
