I don’t really like the trope in LonelyEyes that Peter never liked James or found him boring but then he somehow got interested in Elias. I mean aren’t both James and Elias technically still the same person? (Unless you have hc that Jonah take a bit of personality of the body while skipping from one to another but I’m not fan of that hc either…)

It also gives opportunity to the great irony of Peter claiming that he doesn’t care about how his husband looks or how old he is… because he thinks it’s sooo lonely not even have clear image of his lover in his mind. And he genuinely doesn’t realize that being with someone no matter of their physical features would usually considered rather romantic than anything else…
