Peter would probably do his best to try spending Holidays on the sea because most of his crew probably celebrates Christmas.

Unfortunately for him he has very bad sense of time and he does the mistake of asking Elias. He of course gives him wrong information and guides him into arriving right at Christmas to London. Peter is not happy about it and asks for divorce.

Next year he asks Elias again. He tells him correct information this time. Peter suspects it’s lie though. He is angry that he happened to arrive right at time at Christmas again. Peter is even less happy as Elias can act all smug with “but I told you Peter!”

(Also on that note I still don’t think Jonah really cares for Christmas; he is not lying to Peter because he would want to spent time with him he just enjoys inconveniencing his life.)
