As much as I love all the angsty and fluffy lonelyeyes takes my favorite one is probably when they have very honest and realistic approach to their relantionship.

It will not last. It is all just a passing fun for both of them. Just to kill time. Just a little play-pretend at humanity. Fragile truce for limited amount of time. And that’s okay they both know it and they have no expectations from the relantionship.

They did not expect anything and that’s why it’s so surprisingly nice to spend some time playing games and making bets with someone who is on the same page. Because just for a moment they can relax. They both know it’s temporary but it’s nice nonetheless.
