wow jon and tim really were together from the start, huh. they would have started up at the institute around the same time and they worked together in research and jon thought highly enough of tim to ask him to come work with him in the archives and tim liked him enough to say yes. they were together in the tunnels when prentiss attacked they were literally eaten alive together in what marked the beginning of everything falling to complete shit they’ve literally been in step with each other from the start and then everything fell the fuck apart and they fell out of it so badly but despite the weird supernatural coma, jon died at the unknowing, too. that is some very grim, bittersweet synchrony. start to finish.
