So I’ve been thinking about that Peter and Elias gem picture you drew. So please consider Elias is actually a diamond who is tired of not being taken seriously by the other diamonds. (I’m also picturing all the other diamonds as the other avatar immortals ie Maxwell and Simon.) so he decides to disguise himself as a peridot and some how meets Peter, maybe saving him from making a full of himself? Elias can’t stay away however, because Peter is the first person who is actually real with him and isn’t afraid of bullying him. Eventually they dance and fused and Peter discovers the truth that Elias is actually green diamond while also freaking out about being able to fuse with a diamond while Elias is just more in love. Also consider Tim is Elias’s pearl and Jon as a peridot or a sapphire with Martin as a human.

Ohhh oh you see I have two versions of the su au. Albeit your idea sounds amazing and I am living for talking about this au.

The diamond as you say could be Simon, Maxwell and mayhaps Annabelle. Elias is not nearly as respected and so he runs away you say ?

Just peridot Elias meeting Peter who is a lapiz trying to do his job but who is very annoyed at his superiors for talking to him. So he intervenes when he sees him fighting some agate.

They are both furious and annoyed at each other but as you say Elias can’t stay away!!! Peter is antisocial but Elias doesn’t know to act like a regular gem so he helps him out.

It leads to them spending time together. Maybe when Elias is a diamond he requests for a few lapiz to work with him, but ensures Peter is there to keep him close!!!

And their fusion !!! Neither have fused before. To Elias its an *experience* while Peter has simply stopped working all together. It felt just so good!!! And it was confusing, it wasn’t just him or Elias but something new and I *screams*

I love the concept of fusions a lot ok?

Mm I like pearl Jon more to be honest, maybe Amethyst Tim.

Also the main au I have is like Elias is a peridot, he meets Peter in homeworld and befriends him. Jonah is friends with pink diamond who is Rosie. The rebellion happens and he ends up in earth with Rosie, gerry and Jon as the survivors.

Peter ends up in the mirror because he went to visit Jonah and got caught up in the war by accident.

Something something Tim is Steven and Danny is an overcooked spinel that was born on earth.

The other au is yellow diamon Elias and blue diamon Peter. Albeit its more like an idea than an actual planned thing. Honestly I like your concept way more 👀 👀👁 ah the possibilities!!!! I have thoughts.
