“What do you think? Were they smart? By splitting up the god into pieces? How do they know it’s a god? For all they know…” And he whispers conspiratorially against him. Peter’s lips part a bit as the apple in his hand drops to his lap. Elias of course moves to pick it up. Of course lingering and Peter feels hot all over.
Shame really.
“For all they know they are worshiping a demon, a monster and its pieces. Who is to say? Tell me, is that what you pray to every day? To the rotting corpse of a monster in your basement?” The tip of his nose brushes against his jaw.
Peter’s blood pumps so fast he thinks he might be about to have a heart attack. Elias picks up the apple again and takes a bite from the same spot Peter did. He looks at him all the while.
His breath hitches and Peter whispers to go to hell.
Elias of course smiles and chuckles. “Come down with me then Peter darling, hand in unlovable hand. I hope you die.”
Peter turns towards him, this time he is the one breathing against his skin. “I hope we both do, I will drag you down with me if I have to, demonic bastard.”

Lots of blood in this one (; anyways enjoy the fruit of my labor as Peter and Elias are stuck dealing with more eldritch beings that they know what to do.
Also a big giant shoutout to my artist @polekands who made two beautiful pieces for this. I cant express how happy i am with how they came out!!

Elias is seething, how completely and utterly unfair! Not only did he not get the position of head archivist even when he positioned himself to get it, no, the salt in the wound comes, when nepo baby Peter Lukas gets the blasted position when he doesn’t even deserve it!!
The man does not have a degree relating to anything remotely involved with being an archivist, the only possible reason he could have gotten the job for, is because his family funds the institute and Martin decided to give him the position because someone pushed for it.
The sheer nerve of that man! Elias has never liked Mr.Blackwood, but he was too interested in the supernatural due to a childhood incident that he couldn’t help but find himself drawn to the Institute.
Now, there is one more thing that pisses him off, and that is that Martin sends him to work as an archival assistant to Peter out of all people. The man used to work in the library, where he and Elias had a bit of a, let’s say passive aggressive rivalry. Peter would do everything in his power to piss him off in the most obscure ways possible and when Elias tried to complain no one would take his side.
Finally! First day of the week, I used both kiss and archivist Au for this. A rewrite of the show with those two on the lead.

Mixed both dream and mythology.
When he was eight his Simon warned him about sirens, dangerous creatures that would lure sailors with their beautiful voices to force them to steer their ships towards cliffs just to crash and die, they could look both like a mermaid of sorts or there were those that looked like bird people.
At that age he had been both fascinated and terrified of the tales, his mother was not pleased with Simon, chastising him and telling him to stop scaring him or giving him ideas. Simon simply laughed and ruffled his hair. He was a family friend, albeit Peter was never sure of who exactly, maybe uncle Nathaniel?
