Just saw the good place season 1 and i know spoilers so…

Tma good place au fic idea that i won’t make but if anyone does be my guest.

Team archives is team crocroach 

Martin Blackwood, after an accident he wakes up in the good place apparently, where Elias informs him that because of his charity and wonderful relationship with his mother he gained a place in their midst.

The thing is…  he did not have the money to have a charity,his relationship with his mother was terrible and he did not study in a fancy college like they told him. He lied in Cv’s to get jobs to pay for everything and in difficult times even had to shoplift a little. So he knows someone messed up, but he did not want to be sent to the bad place so he rolled with it.

Elias tells him of his supposed soulmate one Jonathan Sims and Martin knows he is fucked because he is his type, but he also needs help to keep up the charade. Jon is not happy to know he lied but despite his attitude he doesn’t want to let him be sent to the bad place so he helps.

Jonathan Sims was a difficult person to get along with and he knew that, he lived his life constantly pushing other people away and trying to prove that he was better for his lack of self worth. His constant indecision, inability to trust others and more led him to the bad place. Despite his prickly attitude, he is in fact a really soft and kind person who worries about those he cares about, but is too afraid to be hurt to be honest. Helping Martin he learns to be more honest with himself and to show himself, at least until the reboot where once again everyone has to start from scratch. He resents Tim at first for his attitude, but eventually they become great friends, the same with Sasha and Martin whom he falls for.

Timothy Stoker loves his brother and enjoys life to the fullest, however before dying he had a fight with his brother Danny after he got hurt in one of his many hobbies and accidentally got himself killed while leaving the hospital. He is carefree and gives very friendly vives, but he struggles to form actual real relationships with others, everyone can say good things about Tim, but no one really knows him. Until Sasha, Jon and Martin, that’s when he learns to let others in, be honest and that he matters to them beyond his looks and jokes, He eventually falls in love with Sasha.

Sasha James is the other person who got wrongly sent to the good place, she worked a perfectly good job as researcher, but later at home worked as a hacker for fun and extra cash, according to Elias she was a lawyer who was very bad with technology but did constant works for free and helped people all around her. She needed to figure out how to be less self centered,  and to think about what her job did to some of the people she hacked who weren’t rich assholes. Something that he usually refused to acknowledge since she treated it like a challenge. Sasha was competitive and wanted to be successful, where her regular job didn’t do her other one let her be better. She falls in love with Tim. 

Elias Bouchard is the architect of their neighborhood and a demon who wanted hell to be less messy and more psychological. He thought he was going to make everyone’s lives worse but actually they started to get better. Elias is still a bastard but eventually he does get fond of his archive crew, enough so to at least try to get them away and to pretend everything is fine so he doesnt get vaporized from reality. He is married to Peter Lukas, it was a drunk accident but he couldn’t get the divorce papers for the amount of time and work it would mean so they both pretend that it didn’t happen. He learnt to care a little more about humans and that maybe he does like/love Peter too, who also has similar revelations.

Melanie King is Janet. Now this is only because, bad place Melanie is basically slaughter Melanie. She becomes more self aware the more times she gets rebooted and eventually becomes friends with the humans actively wanting them to be able to leave. When Jon’s ex girlfriend Georgie ends up there for the new test, they end up falling in love. 

Finally extra characters!

Gertrude is the judge impartial as hell but hates Elias. Still she ends up accepting the new test to see if the point system is rigged or not.

Peter Lukas is Elias husband and rival, at one point way before the team archives arrived, they got married by accident and the paperwork to divorce them was so complicated that they just sort of let it be. When Elias gets threatened to be disappeared from existence he realizes that oh shit I dont want him to be gone, I might actually love this bastard, so he joins in their efforts to save the humans.

Georgie is Jon’s ex-girlfriend that eventually ends up in the bad place to test out the point system. She falls in love with Melanie and she and Jon hash out their past relationship to be friends again.

Thats all i have, my brain is kinda burned out and i need to play a dnd game now.
