Faces are the first thing you notice when you meet someone, is what your eyes are drawn to, to recognize, categorize and remember, even if perhaps the face you see disappears from conscious memory, it remains in the backburner of your brain.
You can’t make up a face, or so they say, when you dream you dream of all the faces you have seen. Being able to see and differentiate faces is a way to survive too. Humans need to be able to know. However in small cases there can be…hiccups.
Peter Lukas was one of those cases.
Peter cannot recognize his family’s faces, mostly because when he does look up, they never stay the same. He doesn’t know any of his siblings or cousins by looking at them, instead he just picks up the slack by finding easy things to detect. Even if his eyes fail him, he can find something to know who is trying to bother him and who is quietly sitting in the same room as him.

Peter is faceblind and has to deal with that and the lonely making it worse, life can never be easy for him.
