“average employer feels neutral about workplace injuries” factoid is incorrect. the average employer hates workplace injuries because it reflects badly on the company and they’ll have to file a bunch of paperwork about it. OSHA Violations Elias, who loves paperwork and whose stated intent is to make sure his favorite employee gets as many workplace injuries as possible, is an outlier adn should not be counted
holy fuck thank you all so much for 10k notes on the vampire jon piece?? you are all incredibly predictable, but still, it’s gotten so much more love than i could have ever foreseen.
had the bright idea this evening that I enjoy drawing Jonathing, and I also enjoy drawing sappy JonMartin nonsense, so why not combine the two (much to Martin’s chagrin)
Assorted Avatars, Aspects, and Associates of the fourteen Fears! Starting with Jon, we have Jonathan Sims (The Eye), Martin Blackwood (The Lonely), Jane Prentiss (The Corruption), Michael the Distortion (The Spiral), Annabelle Cane (The Web), Oliver Banks (The End), Hezekiah Wakely (The Buried), Manuela Dominguez (The Dark), Nikola Orsinov (The Stranger), Melanie King (The Slaughter), Jared Hopworth (The Flesh), Agnes Montague (The Desolation), Daisy Tonner (The Hunt), and, last but not least, Michael Crew (The Vast)
you need to make more self-indulgent art btw. hyper-specific self-indulgent niche shit that appeals to You Specifically and maybe nobody else will get it or even like it but that’s the point.
hi, sorry if this is a weird ask, but is there anywhere i could buy prints of your art? one of your jon pieces (the one with the hand) i would love to have on my walls i just wanted to know
hi there! appreciate the ask! not a weird question at all, although my answer is probably going to bore you, apologies in advance.
any work of mine that is fanart (which is most of what i post on tumblr, because this place isn’t exactly interested in original work) cannot be sold or use to make profit, which means there will never be any prints made of my tma fanart.
that said, if you have access to a home printer, by all means, get yourself some nice paper and some scissors and go nuts! so long as you’re not distributing it/reuploading it/selling it yourself/etc, i don’t care if someone prints out my fanart, as it’s not something i have any way to make money off of in the first place.
i do ask that people refrain from cropping out my watermarks, but apart from that… what you print out at home on your own time is between you and the ceaseless watcher.
tl;dr making money off of fan content is a big no-no, and so long as you’re chill i don’t care if you print my fanart for personal use.
anything could happen in the archives of the magnus institute
inspired by fools chasing fractals by @jonskepticeye on ao3 GO FRIKIN READ IT!!!!!!!! nearly every pining interaction between these two in this story took place in a setting that made me think of warm yellow lighting in a quiet place,,,, had to draw it (im only halfway thru no spoils >:[[)

but my niche stuff is too niche for anyone else to like it ):
if evolution said that, we’d have stayed as prokaryotic cells forever. fuck what everyone else thinks. your joy is reason enough.
The fact that Oliver Banks was at Jon’s sickbed casually trauma dumping onto this man is genuinely hilarious. An Archivist’s work of being an unlicensed, unpaid therapist is never done
current fan creation landscape is kinda like if you went to a party with a homemade cake and everyone takes a slice and silently thumbs up at you with no attempt to start a conversation except for occasionally some guy sits in the corner with a tape recorder critiquing the cake as though he was a restaurant critic and another guy is handing the cake to an uber driver like “yeah i need you to find a restaurant that makes cake like this so i can have more of it” and the only person that’s talked to you in 30 minutes is a very sweet little guy who was like “hey i liked your cake” and then ran away apologizing for bothering you the moment you said thank you.
someone brought a cake analysis robot to feed the cake into to determine the exact ingredients and supposedly it can spit out the exact same cake. and if you’re like dude. what. then they’re like well if it bothers you you should have made more cake. i’m hungry and i deserve cake. and you’re like dude we’re at a party.
Three months later you find out that fifty people locked themselves in a room to discuss how much they loved your cake and how they wished you made more. None of them ever told you.
so for the love of god. please tell people you liked their cake and don’t feel embarrassed about it. because then they will make more cake.
