i feel like i’m finally coming out of a long art block and seeing improvements again and actually feeling inspired which is so nice and has been a long time coming. anyway, here’s a wip of two ocs of mine — i’ve been trying to learn acanthus leaf at the moment. i’ve got a lot more practise to do, but i’m really enjoying it so far!
completed sketch/wip! don’t mind the very quick and rough corner panels, that’s just a note for me on leaf direction and value, not at all the final planned style.

the actual commission type this reference is for is greyscale headshots, i just made a coloured version because he became an Actual Guy in my head and i needed to work out a palette for him for personal reference.
