I firmly believe someone tried to write a biography on Jonah Magnus in the early 2000s, and Elias was very eager to help them and he gave them a lot of information, but then they started to look too closely into things and ended up falling into the Entities and was ultimately killed by one.
Elias was quite disappointed. He has the unfinished manuscript at his home that he likes to read through.
Oh, multiple people have definitely tried. Some don’t consult him for advice, so he send other avatars after them. Some do consult him for advice, but just annoy him and he leads them to entities to be killed. Others consult him and he tries to help, but they fall to entities themselves. And others just lost passion.
In addition to rumours about the position of Head of Institute being haunted, there are rumours that trying to research Jonah Magnus results in death (not false). So people have simply stopped trying to write about him or they try and never finish.
Jonah is very upset about this. He’s tried to write one himself, but others claimed he took too many liberties with details about Magnus’ past and there’s no proof to back it up. He is, understandably, angered by this.
