objectum otherkin elias is one of those headcanons i have that i literally cannot interpret the series without. everything that happens makes more sense through the lense of jonah magnus being an objectum otherkin. his relationship with the eye is entirely romantic and sexual and religious, and every relationship he has with any other human is secondary to that. he just wanted to become a part of the eye. he wanted to become an extension of it. i don’t think he ever really considered himself human, and being trapped in a human body and mind was painful for him. that’s why he didn’t understand why jon hated the idea of losing his humanity so much; being trapped in his own humanity was torture for jonah.
so basically whenever i see anyone share their headcanons regarding his gender or sexuality, all i can think is “there’s something a lot more complicated than that going on” because my own headcanon is. well. gender is for humans. sexuality labels are for humans. he is not a human.
