tbh it WAS a jonelias fic but very very recently i did in fact write abt that idea that jonah’s oh so envious of jon and the fact that the eye just. adores this random little man who doesn’t even WANT to be adored by it. meanwhile jonah’s been dedicating his whole immortal existence to the eye. and he HAS to look after this kid, because who else is gonna teach him how to please the eye?? but at the same time how infuriating and unfair and cruel. the eye is fr just an abusive parent leaving its first child to actually look after its youngest.

and jon IS the eye’s favourite, we know that for a fucking fact. everybody knows that. he doesn’t even WANT to be. he HATES being the eye’s favourite. but he IS and jonah has to resent him so fucking much for that
