Thoughts on Jonah & Simon as a ship?

hmmm. much to consider. i think jonah would try to make it a whole tense homoerotic rivalry but simon would just constantly ruin it by being like “you wanna fuck me so bad it’s honestly embarrassing” and like what’s jonah gonna do? deny the obvious?

also i think simon’s mildly fascinated by jonah. i think he wants to study him, in a way.

overall, 10/10, very interesting dynamic.

i could talk about the angst aspect but i don’t wanna kill you guys . lol

nevermind im bored and its 5 am i can be a little evil if i wanna.

i think that neither of them want to live at this point, but both of them are far too scared of death.

simon has nothing to live for. i feel like i know his mental state very very well. he’s living for fun. he has to keep moving, because he knows the kind of pit that’s just waiting to consume him at any moment. and if he falls in once, he’ll realize just how much he really wants to stop existing.

jonah lives for one purpose alone. and he’s worked so hard for it, because it’s given his existence some kind of meaning. but what if, what if, what if. what if it doesn’t work? what if it works, but it’s not what he thought it’d be? what if it hurts? what if it’s just a different kind of death, an apotheosis he’s not ready for? he’s terrified. but he can’t stop now. this is all he has. he’s made sure of that himself.

i think they’d recognize that fear in each other. i think they’d make quiet promises of escaping, somehow, and even more quiet promises of “kill me if i can’t.” and “kill me if they don’t.”
