ok i know elias putting the information of her dad’s death into melanie’s head is supposed to be like. a scary and intimidating scene. but the way it’s placed directly after the interaction where basira jokes about melanie making elias cry makes me think like. what if she was right and elias got weirdly insecure about it and decided the only course of action to take was to mentally torture melanie about it.

basira: i dunno, probably. you can be very mean.
