Because of how long they took me. Paintings usually do even worse.
Generally, the stuff that I spend a lot of time on gets less “views” than the more digestible silly stuff like doodles or joke drawings. It sucks but that’s how it is online.
It’s a social media problem that artists have to pick quantity over quality to really “make it” ..
But knowing this helps to keep my worth as an artist separate from my success online. Easier said than done, sadly…
