i think melanie and martin should be best friends (i can’t recall what their canon dynamic was unfortunately💔 so we probably didn’t get much of them together. correct me if i’m wrong tho)

cause like, martin would look at her and think, wow that’s who i’d be if i got to speak and do what’s actually on my mind

and melanie would look at him and go wow, that’s who I’d be if it wasn’t for this wild anger rooted in my brain

yeah i think they could balance each other out nicely like they’d rant to each other about stuff
