The secret wish is to write a fanfic that someone loves so much they make fan art of it, or to create a drawing that someone creates an entire fic based off of it.
There’s some art I’d love to write fics for, but I’m terrified the artist will hate how I portray the characters and there’s nothing more horrifying than disappointing someone you admire orz
On the flipside if someone sent me art of something I wrote, even if it’s stick figures I’d cry and ask if I’m allowed to print it and put it on my wall.
I can confidently say as an artist that most of us would also be happy to get even a very very short one-shot inspired by our drawings and we’d be riding that high for literal weeks dgkshdksh
