Please #8 "Someone should punish you for that." Whatever setup you want.
Ok I’ma be real I think this one might be. Bad. It fought me every step of the way despite being a really good prompt AND me having a really solid idea. But I have a billion other prompts to get to. So. Don’t wanna waste time and energy on just one y’kmow?
Can’t think of any warnings tbh? But lemme know if you want something tagged:
“There you are.”
He looked up to see Elias approaching, face pinched with disapproval. Jon tensed. The specter of Elias’ unhappiness, his disappointment always stirred a horrible, bright-burning shame inside of him. A squirming need to appease that always made him want to sink down to his knees; an instinct Elias was always happy to encourage.
“Have you been hiding out here all this time?” Elias looked around the dark, grimy alleyway with distaste, “really, Jon.”
“I was just, ah, just taking a smoke break.” He winced as soon as the words were out of his mouth, took another drag of his cigarette to calm his nerves. Elias approved of his smoking habit even less than he approved of Jon’s habit of dodging “mandatory social events,” and Jon really wasn’t looking forward to yet another lecture.
“Oh? And you thought you’d spend the rest of the evening reeking of smoke? You do realize that your bad behavior reflects poorly on the institute at large, don’t you?” Elias’ voice had gone low, dangerous. The ember of arousal his displeasure had sparked flared further to life.
Fingers delicately plucked the cigarette from between his lips, stubbing it out on the grubby brick wall behind him. “Someone should punish you for that,”
Jon trembled, shamefully aware of just how wet he was getting. “Surely nobody’s going to get so upset over me having a smoke.” He said, clenching and unclenching his thighs together.
Elias looked like he was severely tempted to roll his eyes, but that he considered such a gesture to be beneath him. A familiar expression Jon found helplessly charming. “This is not up for discussion, Jonathan. Now, I expect you to get yourself cleaned up and presentable. You will return to the party, you will introduce yourself to some of our donors, and you will be polite for the remainder of the event. Afterwards, you will meet come with me to my office for disciplinary action. Have I made myself clear, Jon?”
Jon sighed, leaned back against the brick wall of the institute. “Of course,” then, thinking better of it, “sir.”
Elias smiled ever-so-slightly, and Jon’s chest warmed at the thought that perhaps Elias was pleased with him.
“Very good, Jon. I’ll see you inside.” He walked back towards the side entrance, stopped, turned. “And if I don’t, there will be severe consequences.” His voice was low, honeyed, a promise and a threat dangling so tantalizingly in the air between them. Jon licked his lips, nodded, watched Elias’ retreating back.
He considered the merits of lighting another cigarette, but decided against it. It would be better if he could slip off before Elias had a chance to return. Whatever consequences Elias had in store for him this evening… Jon needed to see how much more “severe” they would get if he pushed.
He was certain Elias wouldn’t disappoint.
