I think sometimes when Jon’s all hesitant about doing something Elias says “do you need me to make you.” I think sometimes jon wants something so bad it hurts and can’t ask for it. Anyways this is how I imagine they started the whole forcemasc/forcefem thing depending on your preference. If jon can’t let themself have this, that’s okay. Elias understands. He can give them whatever they need. This also applies to many other things but I’m on a forcemasc/forcefem kick today. Think about Jon quietly begging Elias to make them because they want it they need it so bad but they can’t believe it’s real. They can’t let themselves. They need their dad to make them. At least for now. Then it’s not them being selfish or doing something risky by themself. Then it’s just their dad looking after them. Giving them things they like. Making them feel better.
And its like. They’re not being stupid or bratty. They’re just scared. It’s okay. Their dad understands and loves them so much. Their dad can take care of it. He can handle it until they’re ready to admit it, and then he can help with that too, even when they have much more control over it. And when they need to give up that control, he’ll be there. Yknow??
