Now I’m thinking about the terrible situationship of between Jon and Gertrude and Elias. Jon being treated like a chew toy between the two of them, and just not in a great place mentally.
Gertrude degrading him while he sits under her desk eating her out, finally just grabbing his hair and using him. Asking him how he expects to give her advice on her Archive if he can’t even do this properly. He tries so hard, to just get a little praise, but the closest he can get from Gertrude is being told he’s adequate.
Of course Elias likes praising him, telling him he’s a good boy, as he holds Jon in his lap groping at him like a stress ball. Doesn’t like how desperate Jon is for Gertrude’s praise, makes him feel guilty, asking him why he isn’t enough for Jon. Elias teasing Jon about his very obvious want to be their kid.
The two of them using him in their little power struggles and Jon is both incredibly turned on and very much incredibly stressed.
Just Jon being a child of divorce despite being an adult whose actual parents were very much in love.
