I will say I do really, really like the idea of Jon having Feelings for Elias, and discovering several years later that Elias is his dad. And the Problem is that before he was longing for Elias to keep and own him, to be permanently tied to him (to breed him, so that Elias would leave a little part of himself behind inside of Jon). He wants to crawl inside of Elias and sit there permanently for the rest of his life. He wants to pick apart and Know every facet of this man. And then he discovers that Elias fathered him and suddenly it becomes so, so much worse… because now it’s like a part of Elias is lodged inside of him, like they belong to each other, like they ARE already tied together… and he’s trying so, so hard to reach for the familial affection he can’t even remember ever having or feeling, and all he can find is hunger.
