So certain he’d be left behind if Elias ever found out. Sent back to the foster home or tossed out into the streets. Meanwhile Elias is using his eyevatar powers to creep on Jon while he masturbates.
I’m imagining Elias Dramatically Saving Jon from a supernatural threat (after Jon was already marked, of course (idk if he was planning to have Jon marked for his ritual yet, but I’m sure he enjoyed watching his son to see what he would do and drinking in his fear <3)).
