i love it when characters are codependent. i love it when losing someone feels like losing a limb. i love it when two people “complete” each other so wholly and terribly that one can barely function without the other. i love it when the fear of losing the only person who understands them is so all-consuming they’ll destroy anything to stay together, including themselves.

she was clearly averse to talking any more, but once he started asking direct questions she gave long, complete answers. there was no static with it, but I think I might put that down to not being very far along in the archivist becoming process, you need to have read statements for x number of hours before you’re inhuman enough that technology reacts weirdly to you.
Painted this while binging the magnus archives. I rarely do fanart, but this was very fun! I also highly recommend the magnus archives! It’s a horror podcast, cosmic horror specifically. It features short stories each episode with and overarching plot that is slowly revealed over time. It’s very well written!
