everyone in s4 keeps saying to martin “you’re compromised because you’re working with peter, you’re either all buddy-buddy and on his side or you’re vulnerable and he’s manipulating you” meanwhile his every scene with peter is him expressing completely unconcealed contempt and rage for the man, just openly trashing his every move and suggestion.
martin: unironically, from the bottom of my heart, I hope you die
peter: you’re so lonely when you threaten to kill the only person you’ve spoken to in months 😀
