Here’s another question: what happens, when the exact same curiosity cannot be satisfied even with the apocalypse? When it is ready to sacrifice any of your leftover reasons to live, only to know the answer to the last question ever? Probably, something even less good. I’m glad you already knew that, seriously. Archivist didn’t.
