A 10-page A5 pamphlet titled “A Manual of Surveillance”. The pamphlet focuses on setting up a CCTV system. It suffers minor water damage and wear but still remains legible.
The pamphlet explains how to setup a set of surveillance cameras, no brand is mentioned with the instructions basic enough to fit many models. It has an introduction that encourages breaching privacy for the sake of safety, a page making the reader focus on a cctv still image and an advance installation guide for lens the user prepares.
Based on reports and current testing the power of the pamphlet manifests in multiple ways.
Focusing on the CCTV still image allows the reader to observe another location.
It can result in mental changes encouraging it’s victim to perform constant surveillance. The physical effects of prolonged exposure lead to the user being connected to their surveillance system able to control it mentally.
The greatest manifestation of its power comes from performing the advanced installation. This results in the person exiting within the surveillance system itself.
The book is currently undergoing further testing once cleared it will be secured and stored.
Please don’t plagiarise my books, even aspects of them E.g. cover, content, book stamp. I didn’t think this needed to be said. A lot of time and effort has gone in to each book having to write, design and bind each one. It’s disheartening to see this as a response to my hard work.
If this continues it will likely result in the end of the Leitner projects public posting.
Hiatus
The Library of Leitner will be going on hiatus. There will be no new book published this Friday. It will likely return eventually. You can still send submissions or requests I’ll be sure to read them.
Can I ask if you see any of my work being used elsewhere including minor things such as my stamp please can you inform me about it.
Witnessing the stolen design gain a surge of popularity that exceeded any my own has received has been demoralising. Add on the user who did it creating excuses or ignoring messages. As well as only deleting the post after its reach had plateaued and the damage done. I think I need a break to consider the future of the Library.

A faux leather hardback (15.5x11cm) titled “Ushanka’s despair”. With the exception of the title page the entire contents of the book is in binary.
A translation has been possible for the first 17 pages. When translated it appears to be a direct series of messages to the reader begging for help and lamenting their own fate. It appears the main objective is to get the reader to “fix” their coding.
The other 99 pages may simply be nonsense. The assistant tasked with decoding it never succeeded. They started spending days at their pc without food or sleep writing nonsense code. They were seen conversing with their monitor shortly before attempting to “install” themselves in to their pc. They have been isolated from all electronics and the book has been returned to its case.
Something to note is that the book appears to have been rebound at some point. Inspecting the interior cover reveals the name Sergey written in pen where the end paper is torn. A last name is not visible.

A hardcover book (9.6x15.2cm) titled “Oolong & Distance - a short collection of poetry” by a unknown author. The cover depicts a grey scale cup and saucer on a table with mist surrounding it.
The book contains 9 short poems and is 11 pages long. The poetry focuses on relatively benign subject matters such as walking, filing, eye spy and rain. The poetry varies in quality between pieces with the final piece sharing the same title as the book itself.
The books powers manifest once a person has claimed ownership of it. The victim will start to distance themselves without realising it. It is a subtle process. It affects them mentally until they have completely isolated themselves from the rest of the world despite their own desires. During testing it has been noted victims mention seeing faint ribbons of steam or mist drifting from the book in the later stages.
If it wasn’t for the isolating effects of the book it would be categorised as a aspect of the Great Spider with the subtly of its manipulation. As it is it only desires to isolate and foster loneliness so it is being marked as a part of the Forsaken. It requires no special care as it is mostly harmless just desiring to pull others in to its solitude.
