the three sentence throwaway tma detail that really gets at me is that jon lost all his clothes while he was in his coma and basira, trying to make it not seem so dire, promised that she would not only get him a new wardrobe but it would be better than what he had before. those clothes were the ones he wore until the very end, what were they? what is basira’s vision of “better”? what she thinks would suit jon? what she would wear herself? did daisy get out of the coffin, lay eyes on jon under the light for the first time, and say “did you dress like my partner for emotional support?”
