@tmaappreciationweek prompt: favorite episode. i think of the man who was not there constantly
[Image ID: an illustration of mag:085 upon the stair. it is of a staircase, done in black and white, with a window at the landing and a railing along the wall. there is the silhouette of a person on the stairs, with the stairs behind bent around the contours of the person. the silhouette is defined by lines from the episode: ‘“Yesterday upon the stair, I met a man who wasn’t there! He wasn’t there again today, oh how I wish he’d go away! When I came home last night at three, the man was waiting there for me but when I looked around the hall, I couldn’t see him there at all! Go away, go away, and don’t you come back any more! Go away, go away, and please don’t slam the door… Last night upon the stair, I met a man who wasn’t there, he wasn’t there again today oh, how I wish he’d go away…” I didn’t meet him on the staircase as well. The carpet didn’t bend under the weight of his soft, round body, and I distinctly recall the absence of a creak as his foot pressed on the loose board of the empty fifth step. He wasn’t there, but the stairs were. It was dark when I didn’t see him. In spite of his own absence, this man blocked the stairs. The moon was bright and cast stark shadows upon the empty floor where this figure stood. He didn’t speak, so I couldn’t hear his offer to join him on the staircase. But I accepted.’ End ID]
Time is weird and my sleep schedule isn’t helping but hey we got terrifyingly beautiful episodes. Binary was always one of my favorites, mainly because of how Tessa talks in the beginning .
