A year after Tim first confessed that he liked Jon, Jon unexpectedly finds himself returning his feelings. As it turns out, the two of them have more in common than they thought.

Jon was three drinks into the evening when he realised he had a problem.
Or not a problem, per se. That was too harsh. In fact, if this thing had occurred about a year ago, back when Tim had confessed that he liked Jon, it would have been rather the opposite of a problem. But it hadn’t happened back then, and now - well, it was at least making things complicated.
The thing was, Jon wanted to kiss Tim. It was a new feeling for him, after such a long time of being friends. He always craved the physical affection Tim handed out so freely - the claps on the shoulder, the hugs, the occasional cuddle during movie night. But the urge to climb into his lap and kiss him until the whole pub knew that Tim was here with Jon - that was new.
Happy @tmaappreciationweek day 1! I drew something, but it’s kinda ¯\_(ツ)_/¯, so… fic recs! Jon-centric ones, because he’s my favourite major character to precisely no one’s surprise.
I swear, if Jon hadn’t become an Eye avatar he would have definitely been a contender to become a Flesh avatar. The fascinated tone of his comments after meat statements, how he refuses to become a vegetarian despite it all and how, of all the domains, he found the Flesh garden “beautiful” is pretty telling in my opinion

Once again @tmaappreciationweek gets me to finish something I wanted to draw for a while now. In one of the Magnus Protocol streams (I think it was the Kickstarter pre-launch stream?) Jonny or Alex said something about a scrawny, beaten up street cat Admiral (and something about him being a ginger) and my mind immediately went to draw parallels to Jon getting beaten up all the time in S3.
So Day 2: Animals of TMA - The Admiral. Again.
Won’t be able to get something done for every day cause it’s con crunch season! But I can’t just pass over an opportunity to draw The Admiral. I just love cats…

Jon missed his mom’s voice. She used to talk on the phone all about market shares, and Thatcherism, and inflation rates, dipping into Bengali (which she had not taught him) and back into English, filling the space.
Then she was gone.
He understood dead. He’d seen a dead fox once outside in the park, and read a book all about dead people (well, most of a book about dead people, until his mom caught him and took it away), and understood dead.
Sometimes he cried. She didn’t come. That was dead.
(Note: sort of spoilers for the whole show? Not really? It’s an AU, okay? Monster!Jon afoot.)
Tim the cat had some complaints.
They were absolutely valid. Dire, even. A matter of concern for anyone who’d listen, and of course, who’d listen was Weird Human One.
Weird Human One was sort of Tim’s favorite, but he would never admit that to anyone. Weird Human One was buzzy. His pets felt like static. His many, many eyes saw in the dark, and he never lost a toy that was shoved under the fridge or behind a door.
“Now, what’s the matter today?” said Weird Human One, following Tim’s raised orange tail (like a flag!) to the spot required: the Place of Brushing, upon the Sacred Bathroom Rug.

i was going to do something similar to yesterdays prompt with the s2 finale but wasnt feeling up to it so heres a sketch of one of my favorite scenes that i quote daily

“Ceaseless Watcher, you know why I am here.”
Jonah Magnus floated down. “Jon? Is that you? I was having the most wonderful dream.”
Jon prepared to stab him. To make things right.
And then a complete stranger in a black leather jacket stepped out of the blue police box in the corner and knocked Jon out cold.
“Jon!” Martin cried, running in.
“It’s all right,” said the Doctor, and threw the knife away. “Do get him out of here, would you? Just this once, Martin, everybody lives.” And with that, he skipped back into his police box and was gone.
After the failed intervention Jon has finally started putting himself first for a change and is liking the results. He and Martin have gone on two whole dates! The only person who doesn’t seem happy with this development is Peter Lukas.

its really funny that for this week ive mainly drawn jon and martin lmao
also i was going to draw my favorite episode but didnt feel up to it so ill mention it here, my fav ep is anatomy class!! its one of the eps that stuck with me throughout my first listen just because it was such a funny concept (minus the horror part) my friend also painted an old cassette tape based off tma and wrote down the case number for that episode on it :]
i have so many feelings about these two it makes me physically sick i can’t even.
