a malleable, easily upgradeable body would be a dream come true, so here’s my Flesh avatarsona, Handbeard. he just wants to wave at you and maybe liberate a few bones.

it’s been entirely too long since I last drew a raging crinos.

Ok ok, here me out.

Waldo is an avatar of the spiral and Where’s Waldo is a leitner.

Where’s Waldo? You open it and start looking but, the faces don’t look right. You looked for 5 minutes but suddenly it’s 3 hours. You swear that the characters move the longer you stare at it and it becomes harder to look away, but you still can’t find him. The harder you look the harder it is to focus. Your search then ends when you’re face to face with him, he’s come to add you to the crowd.

Someone who is better at writing probably will do better.

This sort of elongation is just how I picture all of the spiral avatars tbh. Weirdly long neck, long limbs, very thin, and very tall.

Annabelle Cane ate Mr Spider and made a vest out of his bowler hat.

There’s a wasp nest in my attic…

Anyway I hate Jane Prentiss. Not a valid avatar.

a couple of attempts at a couple of pride moths

To be filed in Artifact Storage upon the restoration of the world:

A rectangle of dark grey cardstock bearing a watercolor sketch of a green lamp, a small moth, and a half-spider/half-human figure standing on a web watching the moth through binoculars. The card is captioned “Looking forward to seeing you here!” in red; instead of a signature there is a drawing of a candy cane and a modified ::::) emoji. The card was recently discovered in Martin Blackwood’s back pocket.

😱😱😱Angry Youtuber Fights Flesh abomination!! (Crazy!!! Gone wrong!!!)😱😱😱

Ngl I love Jared a lot too,,, I rlly should draw him more. I just have a bad habit of always picking the most minor characters as my favs

I keep reworking my bear!Daisy idea and it keeps turning out meh. this is the best iteration so far. probably because multiple prehensile tongues are an automatic +100 to awesome.

The Beholding Magnusquerade Mask

thetypingdragon:

It’s finished! This mask was the first one I had the idea to make. I spent a long time on it, over 24 total hours I think? That’s not counting the 48+ hours simply allowing spray gloss to dry. I had to do the gloss twice because it wasn’t completely dry the first time around, I got figure prints on it, and I had to cover them up with another thin layer.

Anyway, this mask was inspired by/based on two things: every piece of “watchers crown” fanart and fanart featuring lots and lots of eyes, and the new logo for The Magnus Archives. I also made the border black ribbon to mimic magnetic tape, although it’s a little hard to see.

The logo was the basis for the color scheme/overall look of the mask and I had a lot of fun figuring out how to miniaturize spatter painting in order to mimic the look of the logo.

I also had a lot of fun breaking out the needle nose pliers and superglue to create the “watcher’s crown” at the top of the mask, as well as figuring out how to draw with hot glue. Thank goodness hot glue can be easily peeled off of plastic.

I’ve included an image of the mask from the side so the eye design can be seen better. The front facing image kind of obscures it.

[ID: A plastic half mask masquerade mask. The areas above and below the eye holes as well as the side corners of the mask have been decorated with eye shapes drawn with hot glue. The areas around the eyes about a centimeter wide on each side are painted with a light green-blue color. The rest of the mask is a dark, pine green color. The light green areas are splatter-painted with an even lighter green and a similar color that is more blue than green.  The dark green areas are splatter painted with an about grass green color.  The hot glue eyes above and below the eye holes have been painted gold. At the top of the mask a series of eleven wire eyes that become smaller spreading out from the largest center eye and ten smaller wire eyes in between those create a crown shape.  The main mask, not including the crown, is bordered with black ribbon. End ID]

[ID: The same mask as above, but shown from the side, so the raised pattern of eyes is visible. End ID]

P.S. If you like this, please consider reblogging this post? Like I said, I spent a lot of time on it and I’d really like people to see it instead of it getting ignored.

Fuertisium reese, clearly a newly-planted immature specimen as it does not yet require trellising. Not to be transferred to Artifact Storage under any circumstances!
