Jon knows how to have a time. Is it a good time?

….

Anyways, Jon knows how to have a time!

One (1) eccentric Bastardman with Many (♾️) eyes.

“What did you say?”

siliconealien:

OH, MY EYE.

@waldos-art has done it again with their mind-blowing coloring of my art!!  I don’t know which Entity they serve to have this awesome power.

Anyway, I would die for this little monster.

I’m seasons late, but who cares. Jon rests with Admiral Now.

Little bit of Eye v. Corruption.

Behold! This guy again.

I’m here to provide heavy psychic damage with some cat!elias

@waldos-art colored my most recent drawing of nightmare!Jon and I literally almost clutched my heart when I saw how beautiful it was.  Surely this is witchcraft!

The more I think about it, the more I keep circling back to how warped the Eye’s ‘favoritism’ is with Jon. Specifically, how much it resembles that vibe that pet owners with cagey, finicky cats have.

“At least you love me,” the Eye says, holding Jon to it as he hisses and tries to escape.

“My good, good Archivist,” the Eye says, overfilling Jon’s dish with Trauma Treats © he also hisses at.

“I Know you’d never leave me,” the Eye says, swatting Jon’s hand every time he tries to touch Forbidden Actually Helpful Knowledge That Would Undo the Fearpocalypse ™.

“I wouldn’t! I’m good! I worship you!” says Jonah Magnus sitting in the Panopticon-Cat Tower, like he always does. Jonah is the lazy fucker cat who only comes when there’s food (power) in it for him and then pisses back off to doze in the same spot for 14 hours.

The Eye rolls. It looks back at Jon, the active, hackle-raised, grudgingly-indoor, endlessly amusing cat that keeps knocking things over, running in circles, climbing shelves, screaming at all the doors and windows, getting stuck in the blinds, and generally being nonstop entertainment. But in all this time, Jon hasn’t interacted with the Eye much. Has been doing his best to avoid it.

But now that Jon has kicked off the Change, he is also finally, reluctantly, purposefully asking the Eye for attention/aid.

“Ceaseless Watcher,” says Jon. “Would you please smite some avatars for me?”

And the Eye has been hopping to it with the glee of someone hearing the cat purr at them for the first time.

Obsessed with this idea most of the day, doodled up some ideas.

“Run Boy Run” by Woodkid heard echoing in a distant tiled room.

Jon? Jon?!

It’s the “Best Customer Service Voice” cue from the script that killed the man.

Me. I’m the man in this situation.

I barely got to draw today, but I did get this sketchy sketch of Gerry Keay done!
