I assume Jonah kind of covered his tracks for why Elias moved up the ranks and you know what’s a perfect cover story? Secret relationship. Nepotism.
Idk thinking about the angst of Jonah pretending to care about Elias romantically or uh. Otherwise and then just like. Betraying him.
He’d probably hold their relationship over his head too. Feed the eye with his fear of them getting caught and then take over his body once he gets tired of it.
