i can’t believe that the show is literally named after jonah magnus, that he’s the big bad for an entire 160 episodes, that the first four seasons culminate in his big horrifying win, and then we not only don’t get a confrontation between him and our protagonist who he’d spent years manipulating, but that he’s essentially killed off offscreen and doesn’t even get a final villain speech.

the body literally DOES keep the score
me, three seasons ago: the magnus archives is laying the groundwork for a fascinating story about the interlacing of trauma and martyrdom, and how horror leaves its fingerprints on everything you love, whether you welcome it or hopelessly become what surrenders to it.

also it’s a GENUINE CRIME how they stalwartly refused to exploit the simmering unhappy and potentially truly ugly tension between martin and jon. what the fuck kind of romance do you think belongs in the world you’ve created! there was no fallout, no true fallout, of how they’d treated one another, and what jon was becoming, beyond martin’s help or even comprehension.
mr sims what was the POINT
I saw u assigned Jon a big three a bit back and I was wondering if u had a big three in mind for Elias as well :0c someone else said triple capricorn but idk if you'd agree ahdkjd
this show failed me, but I will not fail it.
elias is a virgo rising, gemini sun, capricorn moon. he and jon are both virgos rising, but within that there are no similarities whatsoever. it’s just that thing where the acolytes of various fears seem like kindred people at first, but end up having their own very different motivations.
