i think my favorite part about the tma liveshow with the Dog Incident is the fact that it’s canon. like the fluff episodes are cute and fun but they also aren’t canon and weren’t written to be considered potentially canon, they’re just fun lil fan things. the liveshow tho is meant to be considered canon. which means that yes, jon did in fact canonically go “like, in general?” to being asked if he’d seen a dog (which let’s be real that’s a mood i would also do that if caught off guard)
but also essentially jon was like “okay so you work for me, cool, and i could Fire You If Don’t Fix This Immediately” and martin literally Looked This Man In The Eyes and said “i mean yeah, probably heh :) oH-” with the gayest processing delay i’ve ever heard in my LIFE. i honestly don’t think that was any of his little manipulations of getting people to underestimate him or whatever i really think he was just that gay about Handsome Man With Nice Voice Speaking Authoritatively At Him that it took him a minute to process. and that’s CANON. that’s REAL. he DID THAT. i can’t get over that.
So normal about Jon being like I don’t remember what you looked like but the man who let you die is going to suffer for what he did to you. If only Sasha coulda seen that.
So normal about Jon being like you died hating me and wanting me dead but I’m still gonna make sure this man knows I’m ending him in your name. Sure wish Tim coulda seen that.
So normal about the fact that everyone believed Jon was losing his humanity but no one got to see the ways his love and compassion for the people he lost or who hurt him drove him to that final moment.
So normal about the fact that even after everything Jonah’s done to Jon, the only person he never thinks to get justice for is himself.

In mag 22, Jon says that “Tim really outdid himself” in the research for the statement. The statement where a man gets ‘eaten’ by the sky, because he was always interested in dangerous hobbies/sports. He “outdid himself” in the research into a man who was killed by an entity due to his hobbies.
hey so it’s well know that Tim was good-looking and didn’t really have any friends outside of the Institute, right? after Sasha died he didn’t have anyone, i don’t think? and we have no idea how old Elias was, but he worked at the Institute either in the 90’s or the 70’s, which means he must have been at least 50? which means Jonah would have been due for a new body sometime soon? and Elias was picked because he didn’t really have anyone who would notice if he started acting differently, right?
thinking about the time in architecture studio my prof brought up panopticons as an example of something (i don’t remember what) and asked if anyone knew what it was and the only reason I was able to answer was because of the Magnus archives so thanks jonny
