1. I enjoy when Elias calls Jon his Archivist in front of other people -- it feels like he's claiming Jon both for himself and the Eye
3. reminded me of a fic I wrote for whumptober where s1 Jon is obsessed with Jonah Magnus. I should do another chapter on that
4. I do like when Elias lends Jon out to other avatars‚ so long as Elias is able to Watch the whole time
6. As much as I enjoy writing JE smut‚ I know in my heart of hearts it's OOC
Also the way that the fandom treats him is so incorrect but that's a whole other subject
Also we have evidence for him being pretty strong‚ as he is able to easily lift a metal pipe that Jon found heavy
Anyways. TL;DR he is an extremely boring man (ignoring the obvious idiosyncrasies he has) who is very 'with-the-times'

Elias also relies on Jon more than he'd like to admit‚ I think. Without Jon he cannot start the Eyepocolypse
Elias controls Jon on a level that Jon isn't entirely aware of (until like s3 at a bare minimum)

He does read some non-fiction too‚ and keeps up with academia in general
He doesn't like wasting time on purposelessly watching his staff -- he has a business to run‚ which he genuinely does enjoy
He enjoys scheduling and spreadsheets
He genuinely enjoys the mundanity and the little things that come with it
He goes to the gym fairly often‚ since he knows how important it is to keep a body in shape. He doesn't want to be replacing them too often
He has his coffee black because he thinks it is a little ridiculous‚ the way some people have their Starbucks orders nowadays
He has his tea with milk and at least 1 sugar - sometimes more - because he is old enough to remember war-time rationing
He has kept vaguely up-to-date on popular fiction‚ but he is mostly fond of classics. They make him nostalgic (for the 1800s lol)
He has tried those super-sweet coffees before though and did enjoy it‚ but not something he would have regularly
He is aware of everything going on in the building if he chooses. And he knows exactly which book would help one of his employees
He prefers tea‚ and he is (iirc) just about old enough to remember the decline of coffeehouse
He will learn and he will be happy
He's cosplaying a middle manager
He's having fun. In my opinion
