very important to me elias Bouchard is a certain level of boring design wise, at least to me. like he can look like a Disney villain but he still has to look like he would enjoy staring at spreadsheets. very fine line you have to balance

I also think it would be really fun to rather than incorporate eye motifs into just his design/clothing/accessories that the environment is used to inform who he is. I recently watched gravity falls and really love the backgrounds used in the society of the blind eye episode. would love to see Elias’s office decked out in crazy eyes or even in just the archives themselves 🤔

(and also ofc that flesh chair in weirdmagedden that has eyeballs in it)

also I draw him with glasses bc it gives him a nice level of style and makes his silhouette a bit more interesting, but I think any sort of implication of them is just, hilarious to me. Very funny to me if he’s an avatar of an omniscient god represented by eyes and his own physical eyes arent actually the best, still funny if he’s just wearing them for appearance sake and he doesn’t need them like at all

idk ive thought out a lot of things with my own personal interpretation of his design.. just wanted to ramble… maybe more posts like this in the future? every tma design I do I try to think through as thoroughly as possible, even if they end up looking a bit generic..
