Hi Alex! If you had to pick, which classical author and/or artist would you say you have the most petty beef with? Not necessarily in a moral sense, but in the sense that you think they're overhyped, have dumb takes, etc.

I admit that Dickens rubs me the wrong way a bit.

Don’t get me wrong, the guy shone a light on important social issues of the day, he had original ideas and he could turn a phrase. All that said though, I always found his stories a bit… coincidental. The world always felt small with everyone secretly related to one another or whatever. I’m probably just being a pedant though since I liked Alexander Dumas and he was another of the paid-by-the-word novelists.
