question: i translate the magnus archives as a passion project and wanted to ask: can i use my translations in my portfolio? or is it violating the license?

That said as a general, NON LEGALLY BINDING, set of rules:
1) Attribution - You must credit the original creators and where possible link to the original work etc.
2) Non-Commercial - Money can’t be exchanged without our permission (even if you make a loss or give the money to charity)
3) Sharealike - anything you use it for is automatically licensed the same whether you say it is or not.
4) You can’t claim we endorse your use of our work

There’s other tidbits but off the top of my head that’s the important bit. As always though, please direct legal and company questions like this to Rusty Quill rather than me. Just answering here since its a good example to set and you asked very politely.
