Is there even a slight chance of Outliers season 3? Or anything new from Cry Havoc?? I adore historical fiction and podcasts and these two were the absolute perfect combination, I truly wish they could be more popular..

So likelihood of Outliers Season 3 is essentially zero.
That show was commissioned and paid for by Historic Royal Palaces (the people who look after the Tower of London etc.) and although it was a smashing success by their required metrics I believe everyone who worked on the project at their end has moved on to other jobs by now. Since HRP holds the rights that means we can’t touch it and I doubt anyone at their end even remembers it exists now!

Cry Havoc doesn’t have much chance for a sequel either.
I personally fought disproportionately long and hard as Executive Producer to get that project to exist and I am incredibly proud of the finished project and everyone’s work on it. It’s arguably the technically “best” thing we have made. That said, something on that scale carries a massive opportunity cost i.e. making that precludes us making anything else and we have other stories to tell. I don’t feel bad about it though as the story ends really nicely as is.

not a question but please please check out what a bunch of us RQG fans made to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the first episode!! RQG is still so loved 10 years later!!!

Hey!
Thanks for this and as always, a glorious celebration! I would say though I mostly remember all the Player Characters as horrendous little gremlins who’s sole job was to ruin everything beautiful I made for them. Some of these depictions look almost… wholesome… from a certain point of view…

Good job all and apols for taking a while to respond. It’s been a busy old time for me recently!

mr quill i’m very confused

what is the difference between magnus live statement begins and magnus live the hilltop ?

i know that the hilltop is a play and that’s about it. (additionally, as an american who cannot afford to come to london twice a year, will the play end up somewhere online?)

This is a good example of a question best asked of the actual company Rusty Quill via mail@rustyquill.com but I’ll do my best to help this one time.

“Magnus Live” just means “a live show related to the Magnus Archives Franchise in some way”

The Hilltop is a full theatrical production of a new canonical play set in The Magnusverse. It is a Kickstarter reward that we are giving a first look of this year that should then have a limited UK tour later. It’s directed by me and features some familiar faces.

Statement Begins is a more casual standard podcast liveshow featuring Jonny and I reading some classic statements and having a talk about all things Magnus. It was proposed as part of the RQ 10 year celebrations and is run by our events dept. It does not feature new canonical content and I am very much just appearing in that as “the talent” *shudders*.

To my understanding both shows are being recorded but I cannot speak confidently as to how/when they will be made available nor to who because that depends on loads of factors including 3rd party licensing stuff I don’t have a say in.

Hope that helps.

Is there going to be a way to watch the rusty Quill 10th anniversary stream afterwards? the timezones mean I would have to basically pull an all nighter on a Sunday night / Monday morning and I don't think I can justify that lol

This is another one that is better asked of official company channels. I am feeling generous today so shall answer but I’m not in the habit of answering logistics stuff like this otherwise I just become an uninformed helpdesk.

Answer: I assume yes? If its streamed on our Twitch channel its almost always available after the fact and I can’t imagine why it wouldn’t be. That said, I am not running this event I am just being asked to appear in it so I am not a voice of authority here.
